Who are we, and why do you care?

Welcome to our homepage!  It’s gone through a few iterations since its inception in 1995 (Nov-11 is the earliest record I can find).  I’m Jan, and the attractive creature pictured with me is Shannon.

As to why you might care, I have no idea.  You know why you’re here, and that’s good enough for me.
